Eaton Launches New Branding and Distribution Channel Approach to Strengthen its Power Quality Leadership

Date: 2015/3/10

Sanya-- Power management company Eaton today announced new branding and distribution channel management strategies aimed at bolstering its growth and leadership in China and in the global power quality market. The announcement, and the introduction of an array of new Uninterruptible Power System (UPS) products and power quality solutions, came at the 2015 Power Quality Distribution Conference in Sanya, China.
“We’ll continue to strengthen the Eaton and Santak dual branding strategy, meeting different market needs with our high-end Eaton brand and mid-market Santak brand”, said Lou Rosen, Senior Vice President & General Manager, Power Quality Business, Electrical Sector, APAC. “The rapid development of the local market offers us a great opportunity to grow our power quality business in China. Offering more choices and solutions for our customers and channel partners will help us take advantage of this opportunity.”
At the conference, Eaton also introduced its strategy to establish a sustainable distribution network, which aims to encourage and help qualified channel partners to become full-cycle solution providers. Using its strong R&D capabilities, Eaton will also support partners to expand business and achieve success in their target markets.
In line with the conference theme, Eaton invited its senior counselor to give ethics training for all attendees. The training helped partners, in particular new partners, to enhance their knowledge of Eaton’s culture of “Doing Business Right.”
“Sustainability and ethical practices are at the core of our business and values,” emphasized Rosen. “We provide consistent training for our agents and implement a code of conduct. We expect our agents to join us in contributing to a healthy and sustainable business environment.”
