WUHAN … Power management company Eaton kicked off its 2015 Manufacturing OEM Mobile Tech Day tour in Wuhan, China. With the theme “Building a better machine with Eaton’s integration,” the tour showcased Eaton’s advanced concepts and integrated solutions in 10 cities across China, including Wuhan, Shunde, Guangzhou, Zhuhai, Shenzhen, Xiamen, Ningbo and Hangzhou. During the tour, Eaton held professional seminars to discuss the key topics in China’s mechanical manufacturing industry with representatives from the processing and packaging, metal cutting, injection molding and material handling industries.
“The transformation of China's manufacturing industry has set higher standards for mechanical manufacturing, and will also bring us more opportunities for development,” said Joe-Tao Zhou, President of Eaton in China. “As a leading global power management company, Eaton is committed to bringing its innovative solutions to China. Our experience in local markets and technical know-how enable us to provide trend-leading solutions to our customers, promoting the transformation of China’s mechanical manufacturing industry.”
During the tech day, Eaton highlighted its innovative solutions in four areas:
  • Safety - Eaton’s AxisPro™ proportion valve takes more flow, pressure and offers a higher degree of protection and that enables owners to reduce downtime and maintenance and increase operating hours by 10 percent.
  • Reliability - Aeroquip® hydraulic hoses offer a maximum working pressure that is on average 20 percent higher than similar products, 27℃ working temperature higher than ordinary rubber hoses, and eight times more resistant in terms of its rubber hose outer wear, and can fully meet the requirements of all harsh working environments.
  • Energy saving - the PowerXL Series DG1 Drive utilizes Eaton’s patented Active Energy Control technology to adjust drive parameters and minimize energy loss in working motors. This offers customers energy savings of up to 8 percent and a faster return on investment.
  • Simplified, compact and lower cost machines - SmartWire-DT®, an innovative automation system terminal solution integrated with switchgear, allows for the lean automation of a sensor’s remote smart control, cutting down engineering costs by 70 percent and reducing machine wiring costs by up to 85 percent. Moreover, Eaton’s E Line products fully embody the concept of simplicity, compactness and lower cost. It is viewed as the world’s smallest and most efficient IEC contactor that not only helps achieve a large reduction in switchgear size without sacrificing performance, but also improves the convenience of upgrades and replacements.
