Energy Efficient Solutions are Focus of Eaton’s First Technology Day in Thailand

Bangkok, Thailand … Power Management Company Eaton showcased its latest innovations in energy and power management applications and solutions, focusing on the specific needs of Thai customers, at the ‘The Power of Possibilities, Energizing Opportunities’ technology day in Bangkok, Thailand on 23 September, 2015. 

The event, which took place at the Grand Hyatt Erawan, gathered more than 200 customers and partners for a full day of seminars conducted by Eaton’s executives and engineers. Focusing on Thailand’s fastest growth industries, including data centers, telecommunications, oil and gas, buildings, manufacturing, healthcare and agriculture, the event provided insights into some of the specific challenges that Eaton’s customers have faced and examples of how Eaton has helped solve them.

A key focus of the event is the data center and telecommunications industry, which is presently experiencing growth brought about by increasing digitalization in Thailand. According to IDC, Thailand is expected to spend US$20.7 billion on Information and Communications Technology (ICT) in 2015 and they remain the second largest buyer of ICT products and services in the ASEAN region . Another key focus of the event is the oil an gas industry, since Thailand is the second largest net importer of crude oil in Southeast Asia, accounting for over 85 percent of its consumption . To tackle this substantial energy demand, Eaton brings a new dimension of expertise to help master the heavy power capabilities and safety systems integral to uninterrupted operations in the harshest environments and to the maximization of refining operations. 

Alongside the seminars, a comprehensive exhibition floor showcasing Eaton’s solutions portfolio allowed visitors to explore Eaton’s products and services relevant to data centers, telecommunications, oil and gas, manufacturing, healthcare and agriculture including specific examples of how Eaton’s solutions are delivering advantages for its customers across Thailand.
