Eaton Launches New, Compact E Line Contactor to Demonstrate Innovation Capability in China

Date: February 28, 2013

SHANGHAI, CHINA … Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton recently launched E Line family of control products. Eaton’s new E Line contactor is powerful, yet compact and is a marvel of innovation, incorporating Eaton’s vast experience in motor. In comparison with Eaton’s other control products, E Line is distinguished by its higher performance in more compact package, allowing OEMs and designers to reduce panel size as well as to minimize the impact on the environment.

With this innovative addition to Eaton’s motor control and protection products, E-Line consists of control relays, contactors and thermal overload relays for regular applications up to 32A. It has also demonstrated its versatility in a wide range of applications, such as pumps, fans and compressors. Furthermore, the E Line’s arc-chamber structure is designed to reduce the impact of switching arcs on the power contacts, yielding a more reliable design.

"When Eaton developed the new E Line contactor family, we wanted to make a bold statement.” Said Nagib Sayegh, Product Marketing Director, Power Distribution, Asia Pacific. “The E Line is not just another contactor. It’s a completely new design incorporating the latest principals of arc-science and technology. With its launch, Eaton continues the heritage of product innovation to offer more reliable and efficient products and services worldwide."
