CPS conduit outlet boxes from Eaton's Crouse-Hinds Division are installed in conduit systems in hazardous areas to protect conductors in threaded rigid conduit, act as pull and splice boxes, change conduit direction, and act as luminaire hangers when used with hub covers.

CPS outlet boxes are certified for Class I, Division 1 and Class II, Division 1 hazardous areas.

Design features

Two types of covers available – blank for splice or pull box use and threaded hub for mounting light fixtures
Wide, accurately machined body and cover mating surfaces, to ensure flametight joint
Blind tapped holes for cover screws to further ensure flametightness
Removable mounting feet for flush or surface mounting to wall or ceiling

Standard materials

Bodies and covers – Feraloy iron alloy with electrogalvanized and aluminum acrylic paint
