Aerospace fuel pumps

Engine feed jet/ Ejector pump

Eaton engine feed jet pumps (ejector pumps) provide pressurized fuel flow to the engine and are typically mounted in engine feed fuel tanks inside system tubing.

The pump has three fuel interfaces: motive flow, induced flow and discharged flow. High-pressure fuel flow, typically return flow from the engine supplied at the motive inlet nozzle, generates suction pressure that draws fuel flow into the pump through the induced flow port. Combined motive and induced flow exit through the pump discharge port. The ejector pump can include integral features such as a check valve and inlet screen.

Motive flow
= 1 to 2 US gpm
Motive pressure
= 300 to 600 psid
Induced flow
= 0.5 to 2 USgpm
