Our SC/SM stamped and formed contacts are two-piece strip and formed crimp snap-in pin and sockets suitable for UTS, UT0, UTG, UTL, UTP, SMS, MBG connector series. Their flexible design allows switching from one connector series to another without changing crimping tools, which helps customers avoid additional expenses and new qualification requirements. Contacts consist of a crimp body made of highly conductive copper alloy and a stainless steel retaining spring featuring retention in the housing cavity and a closed entry socket to prevent probe damage. The solution for automated crimping

Our SC/SM series contacts are open barrel and available on strips and reels of 3,000. The reel packaging, combined with semi or fully automatic crimp tooling, provides the added advantage of a lower production cost for high volumes. For lower volumes, we offer a loose piece packaging adapted for manual crimping process.

Diverse plating options to meet your needs

The SC/SM series contacts are available with a wide range of platings to enhance electrical performances. We offer gold, gold flash, tin over nickel plating and other selective plating options.
