RC Radio Controller

The RC Radio Controller permits the remote activation of the airport lighting system by the pilot. This is accomplished by keying the aircraft’s microphone in a particular sequence at a designated frequency.

The 1 step RC is activated upon receiving a series of pulses of radio frequency energy within a 5 second period. After receipt of five pulses the relay closes. The solid state timer will continue to operate for 15 minutes then the system reverts to the “off” condition.

The 3 step RC is activated upon receiving a series of pulses of radio frequency  energy within a 5 second period. At the third pulse the first relay closes, at the fifth pulse the second relay closes, at the seventh pulse the third relay closes. At any time the pilot has the option of sending three, five, or seven pulses to command the intensity level to his desires.
